Delilah (right) competing at a TAGB event โ one of many medal-winning performances throughout her career
Delilah has been training in Taekwondo for seven years, having started at a young age and quickly developing a passion for the sport. From her very first competition as a colour belt โ pictured here proudly wearing her medal โ she showed the determination and competitive spirit that has defined her journey ever since.
Now a 2nd Dan Black Belt, Delilah has competed at regional and national level throughout her career, accumulating medals across sparring events and gaining valuable experience on the competition floor. Her progression from junior competitor to black belt has been a testament to her hard work, consistency, and love of the sport.
Alongside her competitive career, Delilah has also qualified as a TAGB Umpire, demonstrating her commitment to giving back to the sport and supporting fellow competitors at events. Her experience on both sides of the competition mat gives her a well-rounded understanding of what students need to succeed.
As an Assistant Instructor at Train Taekwondo Schools, Delilah helps teach children at our Beverley and Market Weighton classes. Her approachable nature and genuine enthusiasm for Taekwondo make her a fantastic role model for younger students โ many of whom will see in Delilah exactly what they can achieve with dedication and perseverance.
